Data center developer Stack Infrastructure announced yesterday that it would be adding 121MW of capacity to its campus outside Portland, Oregon.

Although the news of the expansion was announced by Stack in July 2022, the data center developer revealed in a LinkedIn post yesterday that its first phase – the construction of a 25MW data center building called POR03D – would be completed by Q4 2027.

This will be followed by the construction of the 42MW POR03E and the 54MW POR03F, which will bring the campus up to a total capacity of 200MW.

The POR03 campus in Hillsboro currently offers 72MW of capacity across three data center buildings called POR03A, POR03B, and POR03C.

Stack broke ground on the Portland campus in October 2020 and completed the first phase of the campus in January 2022.

POR03 is located close to the 4MW POR01 and the 24MW POR02.

Stack – launched by investment firm IPI Partners in early 2019 after merging former Infomart and T5 assets into a new wholesale colocation provider – has a presence in the US, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Copenhagen, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Norway, and Sweden.
