Data center company NFD Korea is looking to build a 300MW, 43,188 sqm (464,871 sq ft) campus in Dangjin, a city south of Seoul, South Korea.

The campus will consist of six data center buildings, each offering 50MW of capacity each.

NFD has already secured construction permits and a power agreement with Korea Electric Power Corporation for the campus, according to a sponsored article on Asian real estate publication Mingtiandi. NFD Korea has said on its website that groundbreaking will take place sometime in the third quarter of this year, with completion by the fourth quarter of 2028.

The company’s website also says that the IT load of the facility will be 140MW.

NFD Korea, which stands for Next Frontier Drive Korea, is a data center developer and consultancy firm. It is led by CEO Choi Jaewoo, who also founded South Korean data center developer DC Connects, which is an affiliate of NFD Korea.

The company lists several in-development projects on its website, including an 80MW, 58,000 sqm (624,305 sq ft) data center in Yongin City that it is developing with DC Connects, Wide Creek AMC, a Seoul-based asset manager, and investment firm Warburg Pincus.

The trio broke ground on the campus back in September 2025.

NFD is also developing a 40MW, 8,248 sqm (88,780 sq ft) data center in Ansan, a city also south of Seoul, and the company’s website says that it is aiming to break ground in the first quarter of 2027.

The company’s website also lists two data center projects that it has consulted on – the first is a 40MW facility in Ansan that broke ground earlier this year, and the second is a 20MW facility in southwestern Seoul that has been operational since October 2025.
