The company this week announced it has upsized its revolving credit facility (RCF) and US term loan (USTL) to approximately $8bn in aggregate commitments and extended the maturity dates of both facilities.

The size of the RCF increased by nearly $1bn to a total of approximately $3.8bn, while the size of the USTL increased by nearly $300 million to $4.2bn. Both loan facilities incorporate sustainability-linked pricing.

CyruOne said the new credit strengthens its capital structure and will provide additional capital to support its growth. The RCF will be used for general corporate purposes, while the USTL refinances existing facility level debt.

"We are pleased to announce the closing of our revolving credit facility and US term loan facility. These transactions provide CyrusOne with attractively priced capital and enhanced liquidity to support our continued growth and serve our customers," said Owen Morris, CyrusOne’s chief financial officer. "The increase in commitments reflects confidence in our business and strategy, and we thank all of our banking and institutional lending partners for their continued support."

KKR-owned CyrusOne has more than 50 data centers across the US and European markets.

The transactions were jointly led by Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo.
