CTI Towers has acquired 525 towers from Conterra Ultra Broadband Holdings.

The company confirmed that the towers acquired are located across Louisiana, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, and California.

Following the transaction, CTI Towers has more than 1,800 towers scattered across 48 US states.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

"As we continue to execute our expansion strategy, adding towers located in these key areas of the US will allow us to even better serve our carrier clients and their end customers," said David Bacino, CEO of CTI Towers.

Founded in 2011 with an investment from Comcast Ventures, North Carolina-based CTI Towers was then acquired by Palistar in 2020.

Last year, the company snapped up 180 towers from Uniti Group, spanning 14 states.

StratCap secures deal for 72 towers

Elsewhere, StratCap's infrastructure division has announced the acquisition of 60 cell towers that are part of a larger 72-tower developer portfolio. The final 12 towers are expected to close in the coming months.

The acquisition was made as part of an institutional JV partnership wherein StratCap has a 51 percent ownership position and will manage the assets going forward.

According to StratCap, the 72 towers are located throughout 13 states, including; Texas, Missouri, New Mexico, Washington, North Dakota, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arizona, and Michigan.

Last December, the company completed the acquisition of almost $20 million worth of essential cell towers and wireless easements.
