Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS) will add three data centers to its Hayes Digital Park campus.

Hillingdon Council has approved Colt DCS’ request to construct three data centers (London 6, 7 and 8) with a total capacity of 97MW. The land parcel currently belongs to Hayes Bridge Retail Park and Heathrow Interchange.

Construction is expected to start in mid-2026, and the first facility is scheduled to go live in early 2029.

The Council had approved planning permission for the campus in early October.

The trio of facilities will expand the capacity of Colt's in-development Hayes Digital Park campus to 160MW. The Park is located elsewhere in the borough of Hillingdon – its first phase, London 4, was topped out in May of last year and is set to go live in 2025, and its second, London 5, will begin construction sometime this year.

This will also see the development of an ‘Innovation Hub’ that will be used by the nearby Brunel University, as well as the local community.

Hillingdon is a borough in West London.

Founded in 1992 and originally known as City Of London Telecom, Colt was acquired by Fidelity Investments in August 2015. Including its facilities in London, it has 13 operational data centers with an additional 19 in development across cities in the UK, Europe, and APAC.
