ByteBridge has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi tech provider Naizak to form a data center business.

Announced on September 30, the MoU is expected to lead to a joint venture based in Saudi Arabia, which is “designed to accelerate the growth of hyperscale clients and AI-driven data centers across the region.”

The joint venture will facilitate operators seeking to enter the Middle East market, and vice versa for Saudi and regional companies. More details were not provided.

ByteBridge also announced the signing of an MoU with South Korea’s FuriosaAI on the same day, with the agreement stating that the two will “engage in good-faith discussions and preliminary cooperation across multiple areas.”

Naizak Global Engineering Systems’ chief strategy officer, Mohammad K. Al Abdulkarim, said: “By aligning our long-standing local expertise with ByteBridge's global capabilities, we are creating a powerful platform to deliver next-generation AI and data center solutions, attract international investments, and support Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals.”

Vision 2030 is Saudi Arabia’s plan to reduce its dependence on oil revenues through economic diversification.

ByteBridge is a “global IT solutions provider founded in Silicon Valley” and offers logistics services, data center-related services, and managed services.

Naizak, founded in 1998 in Saudi Arabia, offers various IT services. Its founder, Khalid Al-Abdulkarim, is also the CEO of Al Abdulkarim Holding Co., which is an importer and exporter of electrical, communications, and IT goods based in Saudi Arabia.
