Angola Cables, a global provider of international connectivity and network services, has appointed its CMO as the CEO of its new European unit.

The company has announced the appointment of Samuel Carvalho, the group's current chief marketing officer (CMO), as the new CEO of its subsidiary TelCables Europe. He will maintain both roles.

TelCables Europe, with headquarters in Lisbon and connectivity through SINES DC in Portugal, will serve operators, content providers, and companies seeking direct access and alternative routes between the United States, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

The new European subsidiary will boost data center to data center connectivity offers, interconnection between clouds, ultra-low latency IP transit, and services for large corporations and telecom providers.

Angola Cables will leverage its growing submarine cable infrastructure and strategic partnerships to offer diversified and robust routes, bypassing critical points of failure and improving the security and flexibility of intercontinental traffic.
