Tracking sustainability across the enterprise IT supply chain
All businesses are now under increased environmental scrutiny as the world journeys towards net-zero and it can be difficult for the enterprise to keep track of supply chain transparency across multiple partners. As such, the IT department must, together with the procurement team, prioritise the reduction of carbon footprints, resource conservation and demonstrate social responsibility.
We ask our panel of experts whether they feel that colocation and CSPs can provide them with sufficient transparency on the matter. What are the metrics needed for suitable reporting and which technologies are being employed to track everything from water use to carbon output?
