Panel: How is healthcare digital infrastructure responding to the ‘new normal’?
Prior to March 2020, there was little engagement with telehealth over traditional in-personal care. With health centres connected back to a data center via high speed fiber or serviced by on-premise data closets, there was deemed to be sufficient infrastructure to support pre-pandemic compute demand.
However as the pandemic ravaged the northeast of the U.S., the fear of COVID-19 provided an opportunity to adapt medical innovation for a more contactless, virtual and data-driven world.
We will turn to our panel of data center operatives from the medical world to outline the approach taken by their organization to restructure infrastructure planning and adapt services fit to scale for virtual growth.
