[NEW] Social Impact Award
As the industry has expanded across the world, so has the level of media interest and public recognition, and the need to align commercial and operational practices with social and cultural responsibilities.
New for 2022, this award seeks to recognize the data center industry’s most innovative and impactful social and community development initiatives. The judges will be looking for initiators and projects that have driven a positive change within local communities, or across society more widely, and those which have demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Entries might include breaking new ground in employment, recruitment, community partnership and education, or special initiatives to bridge the 'digital divide'. The successful entrant must be able to provide evidence for the positive impacts of their social and community strategies.
- All or part of the project or initiative will be in place by 1st September 2022.
- A major part of the project or initiative has been conducted since 1st September 2021.
- Any organization which is actively and continuously involved in the data center industry is eligible to enter their project or initiative into this category - enterprise, colocation/data center services, MSP, ISP, cloud provider, consultant, AEC, vendor etc.
