As a Co-Founder of the business, we first launched the global awards program as it was incredibly important to me, that DCD recognized the fantastic array of projects, innovations and crucially, individuals that make up our ever-growing industry.

Having been at the heart of the industry for over 20 years, and with 2020 being the 14th anniversary of the DCD>Awards, these motivations have remained the same. With technology evolving faster than at anytime in our history, the global awards program gives us a chance to reflect and recognise the fantastic achievements of all those who continue to ensure our sector moves forward and meets these growing demands.

Last year was a record for us in terms of the number of entrants and attendees on the night. With 1500+ projects submitted over the years and more than 150+ winners, the suit may be a little tighter and there may be a few more grey hairs than when we launched 14 years ago, but we look forward to the annual ceremony with no less excitement!

This year represents something of a first in terms of running the ceremony online, but we thoroughly look forward to connecting with a more global audience than ever before with interactive quizes, finalist webinars and of course, the all important winner announcements. It is even more important to continue to recognize the outstanding work of our industry at the uniquely challenging time.

We are also delighted to continue to support our Charity Partner Chain of Hope with £100,000 raised over the last 3 years alone. It promises to be another fantastic year and as our global community moves beyond 500,000 of your peers and our web traffic swells beyond 4,500,000 unique visitors a year, what better time to join us?
