No one runs a data center in isolation, and teamwork is a crucial skill alongside the technical know-how the job requires. The operations team has to work on behalf of clients inside and outside their organization, and make sure the operation runs reliably and effectively.

The judges want to hear about teams convened for a special task, at any stage in the data center life cycle, which goes above and beyond day-to-day operations. The winning team could have been involved in fitting out, refitting or decommissioning a site, or handling a specific situation in its use.

Who should enter & Eligibility

• The “special” assignment team must have been specially convened and have started work on the tasks assigned to it within the last 12 months
• Teams from operators of any category of data center (enterprise, colocation/data center services, MSP, ISP, cloud provider etc)  are eligible for this category
