William Giewont
Chief Technical Officer, EPC PowerWilliam Giewont is currently the Chief Technical Officer for EPC Power developing high efficiency, grid interactive multi-megawatt power converters. He joined EPC Power in 2017. William has over 44 years of experience in Research and Development of power electronics and controls for power converters ranging in voltage from 230V-4160V and power from 1KW-10MW. He was the principal investigator on several US Department of Energy high voltage WBG programs that investigated the efficiency impact, system cost and commercial advantages of using 10kV SiC MOSFETs in PV to Grid applications.
Bill’s research and development interests include advancements in power electronics, power systems, and controls. His hobbies include woodworking, fly fishing, and hiking the Appalachian trail
