Steven is an experienced Data Center Manager, instructor, and consultant with a strong track record in critical infrastructure operations, project delivery, and workforce development. He combines hands on engineering experience with strategic operational leadership and global training delivery, bringing a practical perspective to mission critical environments.

Throughout his career, Steven has managed five data centers across the UK and Isle of Man, with responsibility for M&E infrastructure, uptime, maintenance, and capacity planning. He has developed preventative maintenance strategies to improve reliability and reduce risk, and has led initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and infrastructure performance.

His experience includes aligning operations to key industry standards and frameworks, including ASHRAE, EN 50600, TIA, BICSI, and ISO 27001. He has also supported industry recognized operational assessments, helping organizations strengthen readiness and meet established benchmarks.

As an instructor and consultant, Steven designs and delivers technical training, hands on labs, and real world scenarios, supporting organizations in closing skills gaps and improving capability across their teams. His approach is grounded in practical experience, ensuring that learning is directly applicable to real world environments.

He began his career in first line support and progressed to Data Center Manager, developing hands on expertise across power and cooling infrastructure, fiber and copper cabling, and containment and POD deployments. His background is supported by certifications in data center management, design, and energy, alongside specialist certifications in data center design and a Level 4 Teaching Qualification.
