Samantha Yates is a Platform Quality and Reliability Principal Engineer at Intel, where she

leads liquid cooling validation strategy and reliability testing for server platforms. She drives

ecosystem standardization as the Immersion Reliability Open Compute Project Lead and

coauthored an Open Compute Project whitepaper on cold plate development and

qualification. As the Immersion Technical Program Manager in Intel’s Advanced Datacenter

Development Labs, she developed auditable rack-scale immersion test protocols and helped

deliver new test methodologies to evaluate the reliability of immersion solutions. Samantha

holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida.
