Paul Golding

Product Manager – CRAH & Fan Walls, Airedale by Modine

Paul has spent the last 22 years working in the data centre and critical cooling arena for Airedale by Modine. As Product Manager he now has responsibilities for the global design of air-side data centre products such as CRAH and Air Wall units.

After graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering, he joined Airedale as an Electrical Design Engineer. His early career involved electrical product design and maintaining electrical standards across the company’s product portfolio. Following this, Paul moved into the commercial side of the business working with data centre end users, consultants and installers to drive forward data centre efficiency. With a strong technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical design and commercial awareness, he took a systems approach to design, incorporating free cooling, water and air-side optimisation to enhance clients energy reduction targets. After 15 years in a technical sales role he was promoted to Business Development Manager where he focused on critical cooling strategies executing a market sector approach.

Paul has a passion for innovation and product development which complements his commercial experience, enabling him to deliver Airedale by Modine’s sustainable and technology driven market approach to data centre cooling.
