where he leads the company's efforts to identify, develop, and commercialize
emerging growth opportunities. Appointed by Valvoline's CEO to establish the
New Ventures function from the ground up, Michael has built the organization's
strategy, partnerships, and commercialization efforts across several adjacent
markets, with a current focus on liquid cooling solutions for AI infrastructure,
high-performance computing, and data centers.
With more than 17 years at Valvoline, Michael has held leadership roles
spanning analytics, marketing, growth strategy, and business development. He
works at the intersection of technology, industry, and commercialization, helping
translate emerging customer needs into scalable business opportunities. Under
his leadership, Valvoline has established partnerships across the liquid cooling
ecosystem and expanded its role in supporting next-generation computing
infrastructure.
Michael holds an MBA and Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from
Auburn University’s Harbert School and a bachelors degree from Eastern
Kentucky University. He is a frequent speaker on liquid cooling adoption,
commercialization strategy, and the role industrial companies play in enabling the
technologies shaping the future economy.
