Mel Melara
SVP of Data Center & Cloud, Bridgepointe TechnolgiesMel Melara is widely recognized as a thought leader and data center industry expert. Mel joined Bridgepointe Technologies in 2019, bringing with them over 30 years of experience in network and data center infrastructure consulting. As Senior Vice President of Data Center & Cloud he launched the data center practice for the consulting firm in 2020, Mel has been instrumental in shaping the strategic direction for the consulting firm.
A graduate of Cal State, Mel began their technology leadership career in the carrier space, spending several years with Sprint, MCI Worldcom, and Qwest Communications. Mel then moved to Masergy, where as part of the executive team, they played a pivotal role in tripling the company’s revenues over a five-year period. In addition to their impressive achievements at Masergy, Mel also held a senior executive sales position at Switch Data Centers before joining Bridgepointe Technologies.
