Marcus is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of industry experience spanning management, engineering, construction, and operations with a focus on data centers, real estate, and advanced technology sectors.

Leader of various programs for assessing, planning, designing, expanding, upgrading, and operating data centers and corporate real estate portfolios, with an emphasis on innovation, sustainability, constructability, and operational excellence. Experienced both as an owner and consultant, a self-styled Seller / Doer that stresses the forging of stakeholder partnerships and achieving high client satisfaction as the foundation of success for every assignment.

Advocate for a master planning approach to provide solutions that not only meet near term objectives but also become the foundation for longer term programs to enhance reliability, realize operational savings and reduce Total Cost of Ownership.

Industry Thought Leader with an ardent understanding of the nature of the critical environment and its reliance on the design, construction and commissioning of its technology and facility infrastructure systems and the proper training and readiness of its operations staff to successfully deliver on its fundamental business mission.

Board Member of the Carolinas Chapter of the 7x24 Exchange serving as the organization's Thought Leadership Committee Chairman. Appointed in 2017 as a Voting Member on the ASHRAE SSPC 90.4 Energy Standard for Data Centers Committee.

Graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Joined AT&T in 2013, currently responsible for the company's Data Center Operations in the Carolinas and Northeast United States.
