Sustainability Project Engineer, Rehlko

Born and raised in Guangzhou, China, Louis Liu came to the U.S. to pursue a Mechanical Engineering degree at UW–Madison. His passion for sustainability led him to Rehlko, where he now serves as a Sustainability Project Engineer in the Power Systems business. In this role, he leads the Design for Environment program for new product development, conducts Scope 3 emissions analysis and ESG reporting, and develops greenhouse gas reduction strategies for the generator business. Prior to Rehlko, Louis worked in construction management as an MEP Engineer at CG Schmidt, where he also spearheaded corporate environmental responsibility initiatives and chaired the Wellness Committee. He continues to drive impact beyond work through volunteering with the U.S. Green Building Council, where he serves on the Market Leadership Advisory Board and helps build Wisconsin’s Emerging Professionals netw
