Joshua's expertise is in using technical and environmental metrics to inform smart business decision-making regarding sustainability. By carefully understanding business operations and environmental impacts, he addresses sustainability from a triple bottom line perspective—reducing energy usage and cost, mitigating impact and risk, and enhancing brand and stakeholder engagement. His recent clients include Facebook, Equinix, Nike, Microsoft, Salesforce, UCLA, City of Portland, and City of Seattle. Joshua has worked with private enterprises, non-profits and research institutions, including positions at Rocky Mountain Institute and Lawrence Berkley Laboratories. He received his training at Cornell University in Biological and Environmental Engineering and Stanford in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
