Jon deRidder

Promera

Jon deRidder serves as vice president of technical solutions at Promera where he helps customers navigate the complex challenges of maintaining reliable and efficient critical environments. With more than two decades of experience in data center services, Jon brings deep technical expertise and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to contamination control, airflow management, and operational performance.

Prior to joining Promera, Jon spent 23 years leading DP Guardian, including 17 as chief executive officer, where he worked closely with hundreds of data center operators to improve uptime, energy efficiency, and environmental performance. During this time Jon served as lead consultant following various data center environmental disasters, facility audits, “buy vs. build” analysis and build out projects.

Jon’s background combines executive leadership with hands-on industry insight, shaped by extensive experience supporting mission-critical facilities and collaborating with a broad network of industry partners. He studied Organizational Management at Colorado Christian University and still believes that the “systems approach” is what makes the data center so interesting.
