Jackson Fahrney
Director of Engineering, Power & Data Management, PDMJackson Fahrney, P.E., serves as Director of Engineering at Power and Data Management
(PDM), where he leads the development of PDM’s transformer power solutions for data
centers, utilities, industrial facilities, and other mission-critical infrastructure projects.
Working at the intersection of engineering, sales, and customer success, Jackson helps
customers navigate complex technical challenges by delivering practical, reliable, and
manufacturable power solutions.
Jackson brings a distinctive perspective shaped by experience across the full lifecycle of
critical infrastructure—from power generation and facility operations to engineering
design, construction, commissioning, and large-scale data center development. Prior to
joining PDM, he held engineering and leadership roles with Chirisa Technology Parks,
MGAC, Meta, and AWS where he supported hyperscale data center design, construction,
commissioning, and operational reliability for some of the industry’s most demanding
mission-critical environments.
His experience includes leading the development of a 200-megawatt data center campus,
supporting the construction and commissioning of a 240-megawatt hyperscale campus,
reviewing power transformer and associated protective systems, and ensuring the reliable
operation of critical infrastructure for one of the world’s largest technology companies.
Earlier in his career, Jackson completed the U.S. Navy’s Naval Nuclear Power Training
Program, serving as a nuclear-trained mechanical operator on a 550-megawatt steam
generating plant; an experience that instilled the operational discipline, systems thinking,
and commitment to reliability that define his engineering approach today.
At PDM, Jackson works closely with customers from the earliest stages of project
development, translating technical requirements into scalable power infrastructure
solutions while partnering with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and field teams
to ensure successful project execution.
Jackson is a licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) in the State of Florida and a
certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He also holds Schneider Electric’s Data
Center Certified Associate certification and NFPA 70E certification. His expertise spans
medium-voltage power systems, mission-critical facilities, hyperscale data centers,
commissioning, project delivery, and customer-focused engineering.
