Ilya Tabakh
VP of Innovation, TensorWaveIlya Tabakh is VP of Innovation at TensorWave, an AMD-exclusive AI cloud infrastructure company that has raised more than $146 million to scale AI compute. He operates at the convergence of computing, energy, and innovation, translating AI's exponential growth into the physical infrastructure required to sustain it.
With 15+ years navigating the intersection of technology and infrastructure, Ilya sees what many technologists miss: AI's future will be determined as much by power grids and cooling systems as by algorithms. He hosts Powering the AI Stack and co-hosts EIR Live, platforms exploring the infrastructure realities behind AI advancement and the application of innovation in the real world.
Previously, Ilya served as Entrepreneur in Residence at Black & Veatch, where he facilitated 40+ partnerships and helped secure millions in funding for energy and climate tech. He has founded five ventures, including a modular data center company that deployed $10 million in infrastructure across renewable energy regions. Ilya holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Engineering from the University of Kansas.
