Gabriel Prieto

Head of Digital Infrastructure North America, Investec

Gabriel Prieto is the Head of Digital Infrastructure Financing for North America at Investec. He previously established and led the digital infrastructure financing business at Mizuho Bank, where he executed 17 transactions totaling more than $20 billion, elevating the bank to a top-three capital provider in under two years.

Before joining Mizuho in 2022, Gabriel spent over 12 years in Project Finance at Société Générale and MUFG, supporting clients worldwide across sectors including renewable and conventional power, midstream oil and gas, transportation, social infrastructure, and digital infrastructure in North and Latin America. He began his career as a consultant at NERA Economic Consulting.

Gabriel holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from Oberlin College.
