Earl Parsons

Earl Parsons received an MS and Ph.D. in optical sciences from the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, USA in 2008 and 2010.

From 2010 to 2013 he was a Senior Member of Technical Staff at TE SubCom, formerly known as Tyco Telecommunications. In 2014 he joined CommScope in Richardson, Texas, USA as a Principal Optical Engineer and is currently the Director of Data Center Architecture Evolution. Earl also served as an editor of the IEEE 802.3db specification. His current interests are multimode and single mode fiber optic systems to enable artificial intelligence data centers
