Drew Thompson is an Associate Vice President for Black & Veatch’s Data Center & Mission Critical Facility Solutions. He is responsible for client relationship management for national and global companies needing: site due diligence, facility assessments, upgrade, enhancement or construction of facilities and the critical infrastructure to support their facilities. Many clients appreciate the opportunity to leverage Black & Veatch’s utility scale sustainable power and water expertise (renewable power, batteries, microgrid, hydrogen, water reuse, etc.). integrated into their mission critical facility projects.

Drew has extensive experience providing strategic planning leadership, engineering and construction project management. He enjoys helping clients develop creative problem-solving strategies for complex projects. He has the tactical implementation experience to convert the strategies into actions that yield positive results. Prior to joining Black & Veatch, Drew was owner’s representative at Sprint and Hallmark, where he was responsible for developing real estate portfolio strategies to maximize real estate assets of: data centers, network operations centers, call centers, office space, and retail stores.
