A guide to understanding top-down DCIM, and why it matters

Ash joined Curtin HIVE in 2021 as a Senior Research Officer on the ARC Linkage Project `Photogrammetric Reconstruction for Underwater Virtual Heritage Experiences`. This is a multidisciplinary project that includes partners from Western Australian Museum and Australian National Maritime Museum. He is responsible for developing large-scale photogrammetric pipeline using high performance computing. He has expertise in computer vision, image processing, 3D reconstructions, HPC and GPU processing. Prior to Curtin, Ash was Post-Doctoral Researcher with Wearable Computer Lab (Australia), EDM UHasselt (Belgium) and Centre for Vision, Speech & Signal Processing (UK) with projects in broadcasting and automotive manufacturing.
