UPS Centre of Excellence - Northern European BDM, LegrandDarren works for Legrand’s UPS Centre of Excellence for UPS systems, with responsibility for the UK & Ireland, the Nordics, Baltics, and Benelux.
Originally trained as a Mechanical and Electronics Engineer, he has spent the past 32 years working in Industrial Automation systems and Low/High Voltage Power systems, with the last 25 years focused on critical power and data center application. For the last 8 years, he has specialized in UPS systems.
Darren has collaborated with some of the largest global names to deliver critical power solutions and strategies, and currently develops much of Legrand Data Centre Solutions’ UPS CPD content. He now resides in the North East of England with his wife and dog. He has three children and six grandchildren.
