Danna Stone

VP Category Management, Graybar Electric Company, Inc.

Danna B. Stone is Vice President, Category Management for Graybar, a leading distributor of electrical and communications products and related supply chain management services.

Stone started her career in 1999 with GE Supply and held various manager and director positions. In 2005, she assumed the role Director of Operations for its Global Sales Organization and was responsible for the company’s strategic accounts and global affiliates. From there she was appointed Vice President – Supply Chain, a position she held approximately four years before joining Graybar in 2014. Her first role at Graybar was VP – Strategic Accounts. She then held the position of District Vice President for the St. Louis District, for seven years. Going forward, as VP – Category Management, Stone will combine the traditional role of negotiating distribution and incentive agreements with a heightened responsibility to drive growth and profitability in all product categories.

Stone is a native of Champaign, Illinois, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has completed executive leadership programs at the International Institute of Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland, as well as the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

She lives in St. Louis with her husband Steve, and their children, an eighteen-year-old daughter, Devan, and a sixteen-year-old son, Dade. Stone is a corporate partner team member for the St. Louis Symphony and the St. Louis Art Museum, and a member of the Board of Directors for both the St. Louis Ronald McDonald House Organization and the YMCA.

She was a recipient of the STL Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award in 2015, she received Graybar’s WINGS Leadership Award in 2019, and President’s Club for 2017 and 2019 performance. Further, Danna is the 2018 Courage Award recipient of the Melanoma Research Foundation.
