Sustainability & Resiliency Principal, CorityConnie is committed to the idea that prosperity does not have to come at the expense of environmental quality. She has focused her career on understanding natural systems and business systems and creating opportunities for regenerative economic activity.
Connie started her career in environmental research first focusing on vegetative reclamation in the Rocky Mountain West with the Soil Conservation Service and then with NOAA monitoring greenhouse gases and the global carbon cycle working under Dr. Pieter Tans – a contributing author of the IPCC reports. As VP of Business Development with a custom software house focused on creating systems for regulatory agencies, Connie helped develop and launch one of the first sustainability reporting tools on the market based on the GRI reporting framework.
With Verisk Analytics, Connie led a new business unit that successfully developed a first to market supply chain stewardship solution to help companies maintain market access by creating digital models of their supply chains and identify risks related to compliance, materials and practices across their vendor base.
