Through his work at PPa, Chris has gained experience across the EMEA working on multiple hyperscale Data Centres for Blue Chip clients, with involvement ranging from technical design to project supervision and team leader. Chris’s Work in the data centre sector has culminated in winning the Data Centre Dynamic Young Mission Critical Engineer of the Year 2021. Previous employment has seen him work on some of the UK’s biggest and most precious projects such as the Shard and Chelsea Barracks where he was an integral part of the BIM team. RAF Worthy downs and University College Hospital London exposure and, Commercial Offices, Hotels, Residential and Education.
Particular areas of expertise include, Data centre chilled water system design, data centre and commercial mechanical ventilation system design, data centre direct expansion system design and commercial and residential LTHW system design. BIM topics such as Implementation of ISO19650 compliance level 2 BIM, clash detection, CDE management, COBIE, Uni class, coordination, cloud-based collaboration and modelling for virtual reality.
