Cara Mascini
Chief Sustainability Officer, Switch DatacentersCara Mascini is a digital infrastructure executive with over 25 years of experience in the datacenter, telecommunications and internet industry. Cara is Switch Datacenters Chief Sustainability Officer and a NED - board member at LINX, the London Internet Exchange. Before joining Switch Datacenters she led Netflix content distribution infrastructure and partnerships in EMEA. Prior she founded and was CEO of EdgeInfra an early edge datacenter company. Before that, she held various executive roles in product, innovation and marketing with Eurofiber Group, Liberty Global and earlier Orange. In the early years of the millennium she was Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer for 10 years at AMS-IX, the Amsterdam Internet Exchange, building the company to the leading IX worldwide. At Logica Consulting (now CGI) she spent several years in senior management consulting and interim roles in the telecommunication & media industry.
Cara holds a a dual degree MBA from TIAS University & Bradford School of Management and has a Computer Science & Telecommunications engineering degree from polytechnic University of Utrecht.
