Babak Falsafi

President, SDEA

Babak is a Professor in the School of Computer and Communication Sciences and the founding director of EcoCloud (ecocloud.ch) an industrial/academic consortium at EPFL investigating energy-efficient and low-emission cloud and datacenter technologies. He is also the president of the Swiss Datacenter Efficiency Association (sdea.ch) certifying energy efficiency and emissions in datacenters. He has made numerous contributions to server design and evaluation with impact on commodity digital platforms. He is a Fellow of ACM and IEEE.
