Allison Boen

President, Alcatex

With over 30 years of experience in data center design and construction, Allison Boen is a recognized leader in the industry and serves as the President and Co-Founder of Alcatex Data Center Services. A U.S. Department of Energy-certified Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP) since 2016, Allison has witnessed and contributed to the evolution of data center infrastructure—from traditional builds to the cutting-edge advancements driven by AI and liquid cooling technologies. A passionate advocate for liquid and immersion cooling, Allison is the Brand Ambassador for Shell Corporation’s Single-Phase Immersion Cooling Fluid as well as DLC S3- PG25 fluid released in 2025 championing sustainable solutions that reduce energy consumption and water use. She has been an active contributor to the Open Compute Project (OCP) since 2018, serving on the Immersion Cooling Community’s Board and currently leading Community Outreach efforts. She is also a founder of the Women of OCP (WOCP) aimed at increasing the representation, leadership, and visibility of Women in the Technology Industry.
