Reza Najjari, Ph.D., P.Eng, is a distinguished Thermal & Mechanical Engineering Manager with a rich background in R&D and Mechanical Engineering Science. Over the past decade, he has spearheaded numerous experimental and numerical simulation projects in Fluid Mechanics, ranging from biological flow investigations to heat transfer and energy conversion. His expertise spans design of experiment, CFD simulations, automation, CAD design, manufacturing, advanced optical and non-optical imaging.

Reza's leadership extends to managing R&D teams, where he currently oversees a talented group of engineers at CoolIT Systems. His contributions as Sr. Thermal Engineer include pioneering research in cooling technologies, coldplates, and innovative solutions for clients. Prior experiences, such as his role as Thermal Hydraulics CFD Analyst and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, showcase his diverse skills in project management, HVAC systems, and mentorship.

Beyond his technical acumen, Reza is a dedicated mentor, having supervised and mentored numerous researchers. His proactive involvement in projects, successful grant proposals, and teaching engagements at Queen's University underline his commitment to advancing both scientific knowledge and the next generation of engineers.
