Fengrong Li is a managing director at FTI Consulting’s Power, Renewables & Energy Transition (“PRET”) practice. She brings over 20 years of experience in energy and infrastructure, specializing in sustainability, market entry, strategy, resource planning and investment analysis across the energy value chain. Ms. Li’s work addresses grid challenges, deep decarbonization, increasing supply and demand variability, and the need to enhance reliability and resiliency. She advises clients on strategies and concrete portfolio positions to achieve 247 clean power, carbon-neutral, or carbon negative goals. She has provided expert analysis for restructuring and bankruptcy, before arbitrators, regulators, commissions, boards, councils, investment committee and stakeholders. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Li had a 13-year career at Siemens Industry, Inc., where she specialized in utility strategy and infrastructure. Prior to Siemens, she was chief of the Merchandise Division at Mitsui Co., Ltd., where she successfully developed international businesses in Asia, Europe and America.
