Whipcord is one Canada’s largest hosters of satellite imagery, storing pictures of more than 500 billion square km of our planet. This data set is hosted from its data center in Lethbridge, Alberta.

C15Edge Data Centers operates a 12,500 sq ft (1,161 sq m) facility in Toronto.

“We’re excited to bring together two teams that have delivered high touch customer service for years," Whipcord Edge CEO and former Canada15Edge CEO Joe Damiani said.

"Together, we offer an expanded service portfolio across Canada giving our domestic and international customers more options in different regions.”

Former Whipcord COO Dan Hamilton has become COO of the combined enterprise. “This transaction represents the first phase of our continued growth,” he said. “And we’re excited to expand our reach as we bring our in-house services to the Toronto market. Both teams are very well aligned in terms of vision, strategy, and execution.”
