Software vendor Vello Systems has added six partners to help install its customer-defined data center systems to service providers across the globe.
The new additions to the Vello Partner Network are Pro-Zeta, HCL, Espo Systems, Accunet, DifferenceIT, and SDN Solusi.
The new resellers and systems integrators in its channel will use the Pacnet Enabled Network within Vello’s Connectivity Exchange to target Fortune 500 companies.
Vello Systems co-founder and CEO Karl May said customers can now define what they want from a data center and Vello’s system will automatically tailor them the most fitting network infrastructure.
By managing the total application environment, it will rationalize the variables that have to be juggled, such as latency, bandwidth and security requirements, May said.
He said this is a much more efficient service manager than the time-honored system of technical routing metrics used by old-fashioned networking solutions.
“Each of these partners can empower customers with the ability to allocate network resources where they are most needed,” May said.
He said the end result is measured in time and money savings.
“We are creating connectivity efficiencies with improved costs and customer control,” May said.
Vello installer DifferenceIT CTO Charles Nolan, described Vello as the "missing piece in the cloud puzzle".
“It’s cheaper, more efficient, quicker to implement and easier to manage,” Nolan said.
“It brings delivery from weeks to minutes - what's not to like?"
Pro-Zeta CTO David Cermark said simplifying massive bandwidth management issues is of concern to telcos.
"It gives us an advantage with key European clients who want to get the most out of next gen cloud services,” Cermak said.
