AI-native operating company VCI Global Limited has launched Galatron AI Factory, a new prefabricated modular data center platform designed for high-density AI computing and token generation.
Galatron AI Factory's five-year roadmap sees the company targeting up to 500MW of aggregate AI compute capacity via 5MW prefabricated modules designed for high-density AI workloads. Each liquid-cooled unit has a target of manufacturing and deployment within approximately six months, subject to power availability, site readiness, and regulatory requirements.
The initial 5MW deployment is designed around Nvidia’s B300 infrastructure and is set to go live in Q3 2027. Full details on the location were not shared. Future modules may use more advanced AI accelerators as they become commercially available.
Each 5MW unit is expected to support more than 5 trillion AI tokens annually. Ultimately, VCI Global aims for Galatron infrastructure to support up to approximately 670tn AI tokens annually at the planned 500MW of capacity.

VCI Global said Galatron is designed to potentially use alternative power options, such as solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) power solutions, as well as renewable energy, advanced cooling, and integrated flexible grid interaction.
VCI may also integrate Galatron with its broader AI infrastructure initiatives, for instance, its planned AI cloud and computing infrastructure in Malaysia.
Malaysian consulting and services company VCI Global was founded in 2013. It is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur and has offices in Singapore and Hong Kong. VCI focuses on AI infrastructure, energy, and digital assets.
VCI Global’s planned Malaysian AI cloud and computing infrastructure includes the development of a 250MW solar energy infrastructure initiative to power AI data centers across the country.
