Cushman & Wakefield, the agent selling the data center, called the facility “a unique opportunity for a corporate user or value-add investor to acquire this exceptional property from one of the world’s premier technology firms.”

C&W said the facility is the largest purpose-built stand-alone data center in Southern Arizona. The property is vacant and available immediately. No asking price has been listed.

The data center includes fiber links via Verizon, AT&T, and CenturyLink, as well as an on-site substation expandable to 20MW.

Built around 1989, the site was previously a Symantec facility, which it seemingly bought in 2009. Symantec acquired Norton in 1990 and Lifelock in 2017; Broadcom acquired Symantec’s enterprise business in 2019 with the remaining consumer-focused business renamed Norton Lifelock.
