A Turkish Airlines passenger jet crashed into a communications tower while landing at Antalya Airport yesterday (June 12).

As reported by Turkish publication T24, the plane hit a ground radar antenna mast on its right wing while taxiing to its parking spot at Antalya Airport.

An aviation safety report noted that the light pole collapsed and impacted the fuselage upon impact.

All 267 passengers on board flight TK2430 were unharmed, according to the report, while emergency services responded to the incident immediately.

The plane had been en route to Antalya from Istanbul and was grounded for repairs following the incident.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
