AMD has announced a strategic collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to help enterprises scale AI adoption.

The partnership will see TCS offer AMD Ryzen CPUs, in addition to AMD Epyc CPUs and Instinct GPUs, the latter to customers operating hybrid cloud and high-performance computing environments.

The two companies will jointly develop “industry-specific” AI and generative AI solutions to support applications ranging from pilot to production stages, and help customers modernize legacy hybrid cloud and Edge environments. Tailored accelerators, frameworks, and best practices will also be developed and delivered across training and inferencing workloads.

AMD’s embedded computing portfolio will be made available to customers to support “Edge innovation, inference, and industrial digitalization” through adaptive System on Chips (SoCs) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).

The deal will see TCS employees certified on AMD hardware and software, and the partners will jointly invest in creating a skilled generative AI workforce.
