Bitcoin mining firm, T-Rex Acquisition Corp. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire an operating 3MW cryptocurrency mining data center in Roberta, Georgia.

The deal is being carried out through T-Rex subsidiary M M & E 2, LLC, which has entered into an asset purchase agreement to acquire the facility from Cryptaugh LLC and Sonace LLC.

The agreement was signed on April 14, 2026, and is scheduled to close on or before May 25, 2026, according to an SEC filing.

Assets included in the acquisition comprise a 5.8-acre parcel of land, six portable mining containers, and an electrical services contract with Flint Electric Membership Corporation. The power contract supplies the facility with up to 4.5MW of electricity.

T-Rex said the acquisition would increase its cryptocurrency mining capacity by up to 450 percent. Frank Horkey, president of T-Rex Acquisition Corp., said the deal was consistent with the company’s business plan and projections, adding that the site also provided “ample land” to develop additional crypto mining operations

The company describes itself as an emerging revenue-stage, vertically integrated crypto mining business. Its subsidiaries include Raptor Mining LLC, which handles proprietary cryptocurrency mining; Megalodon Mining and Electric LLC, which owns the company’s Orofino, Idaho data center; Sabretooth Mining Containers LLC, which fabricates mining containers for remote deployment; and Deinodon Mining Solutions LLC, which develops mining management software.

T-Rex acquired Peak Digital Solutions LLC in March 2025, taking over a 6,000 sq ft crypto mining facility in Orofino, Idaho, in a deal valued at $500,000. The site included mining racks, cooling, and operational systems, with around one-third of the facility expected to be used for colocation mining services.

The Idaho facility was burgled in July 2025, with 66 S19 ASIC miners and part of an electrical panel stolen. T-Rex said at the time it expected a brief mining and colocation interruption while a replacement electrical panel was installed.
