Rolfe & Nolan Systems Inc, a leading specialist software providers for the global listed derivatives industry has announced substantial expansion and improvement to its Chicago datacenter coinciding with its downtown Chicago office relocation. Improvements to the datacenter include increased network capacity, an advanced key card/video surveillance security system, redundant power and an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) capable of withstanding a multiple hour power failure, and the implementation of various "go green initiatives designed to minimize heat output and air conditioning requirements.
"We are more confident than ever in our front-to-back ASP processing capabilities, said Bob Sylverne, chief executive officer of Rolfe & Nolan Systems Inc. "With this upgrade, our datacenter capacity has increased by 200% and our network capacity has doubled. Beyond this increase in capability, our clients' information and assets are more secure - redundant air-conditioning units and dual UPS minimize the potential of disruption due to hardware issues. From a security perspective, our facility meets auditing requirements, resulting in a high level of protection of our customers' assets.
"We are also very proud to have accomplished this office relocation with little or no impact on our client base, which includes globally serviced front, middle and back office ASP customers. Our goal was to make this potentially disruptive event virtually invisible to our clients, and we have done that. As a reward, we have a state-of-the-art facility that positions us to seamlessly handle the growth of not only our own processing requirements, but the collective growth of our clients' business for many years to come.
