Ripple Fiber has announced a deal to acquire CloudWyze's fiber assets.

The deal, which includes all of CloudWyze's fiber customers, will grow Ripple's fiber footprint across North Carolina, in Harnett, Martin, and Nash Counties.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed by Ripple Fiber, an Internet Service Provider (ISP) that covers North Carolina and South Carolina.

The Charlotte-based company claims to have a 10Gbps-ready network.

According to Ripple, the fiber acquisition spans more than 13,000 homes across the three counties.

“As a rapidly growing provider, Ripple Fiber is always actively looking for avenues to expand our network across our home state and the nation as a whole," said Greg Wilson, founder and CEO of Ripple Fiber.

"This agreement with CloudWyze allows us to more quickly enhance our footprint and increase fiber Internet access in targeted areas."

At present, Ripple serves a number of counties in North Carolina including; Caldwell County, Cleveland County, Gaston County, Hickory, Outer Banks, Pinehurst, and Union County.

In South Carolina, the company serves Greenville, Lexington, and Simpsonville.

Founded in 2012, CloudWyze provides managed IT solutions to public and private sector businesses and private residents.
