AI-powered search engine Perplexity has signed a cloud capacity agreement with neocloud CoreWeave.
The agreement will see Perplexity run its AI inference workloads on the CoreWeave cloud platform and enable both companies to pilot new services across the two organizations.
The value of the agreement has not been stated.
Perplexity will use dedicated Nvidia GB200 NVL72 clusters for the inference workloads, enabling CoreWeave to meet the growing requirements of Perplexity’s platform.
“We’re proud to partner with Perplexity as they scale their inference workloads on CoreWeave’s AI cloud,” said Max Hjelm, senior vice president of revenue at CoreWeave. “AI applications running in production require more than just access to raw infrastructure – they require best-in-class performance and reliability as well as a cloud platform designed end-to-end for AI that simplifies compute operations.”
“We were impressed by the combination of CoreWeave’s technical aptitude and partner-first mindset that help AI-native companies accelerate their growth and scaling goals,” said Dmitry Shevelenko, chief business officer at Perplexity. “CoreWeave is an essential partner in our efforts to optimize our infrastructure and the models we use to provide Perplexity users across industries with the strongest AI tools and agents on the market.”
Thus far, Perplexity has begun running some inference workloads on the CoreWeave Kubernetes service as an initial phase of deployment.
Earlier this year, Perplexity signed a $750 million cloud agreement with Microsoft, set to span three years.
Perplexity was founded in 2022 by Arvind Srinivas, Denis Yarats, Johnny Ho, and Andy Konwinski, and was valued at $20 billion after a $200m raise in September 2025. Nvidia is an investor in the company.
Google Cloud signs expanded deal with AI voice tool startup ElevenLabs
Meanwhile, AI startup ElevenLabs has signed an expanded contract with Google Cloud.
Under the agreement, ElevenLabs will be using Google Cloud’s G4 virtual machines (VMs) powered by the Nvidia RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell GPUs to train and serve its voice models.
The two have previously worked together, but the new contract represents a multi-year expansion and will also provide ElevenLabs with access to a “significantly larger cluster” of Blackwell GPUs.
"Google Cloud has been a great partner from day one," said Mati Staniszewski, co-founder of ElevenLabs. "Now with G4 VMs powered by Nvidia Blackwell, we're pushing our multimodal models even further—faster inference, better reliability, instant replies across languages. The goal stays the same: making voice agents that work at enterprise scale without compromise. We are excited to keep building together and see what our customers deploy with this."
