SAVVIS, Inc. a global leader in IT infrastructure services for business and government applications, has announced an agreement to provide datacenter hosting and network services to Omniture, Inc, a leading provider of online business optimization software which enables customers to manage and enhance online, offline and multi-channel business initiatives.
Omniture serves billions of transactions daily to more than 4,400 customers across 75 countries. As a rapidly-growing company that includes customers from many of the leading Internet brands, Omniture requires high performance, highly scalable datacenter services to underpin its rapidly growing web-based services, providing business optimization software to customers such as eBay, AOL, Wal-Mart, Microsoft, Oracle, General Motors, Sony and HP.
Under terms of the three year agreement, SAVVIS will provide Omniture with hosting and network services delivered from SAVVIS' expanded datacenter facilities in Dallas, Texas. "We needed additional capacity and a datacenter solution that could rapidly scale to meet the demands of our customer transaction growth, said Brett Error, chief technology officer, Omniture. "With its significantly expanded, high-capacity facility centrally located in Dallas, SAVVIS was the right choice for us.
