Gaming and esports company NIP Group has agreed to buy Bitcoin mining machines with approximately 4.47 exahashes per second (EHps) of computing capacity.

Announced on October 20, the deal covers equipment already operating at hosting facilities, which would contribute to NIPG’s production after closing.

NIPG will issue up to 247.1 million Class A ordinary shares to the sellers. At the agreement’s price of $6.12 per terahash, the equipment is valued at approximately $27.3 million.

Completion would bring the company’s mining capacity across three deals to approximately 13.85EHps. NIPG forecasts 195 Bitcoin per month at full deployment, depending on network difficulty, global hashrate, and operating conditions.

“These on-rack assets are immediately operational and will be integrated into our existing hosting framework with minimal ramp time,” said Carl Agren, COO of NIPG Mining and Digital Assets.

The September 24 agreement remains subject to closing conditions. Completion is expected within ten business days after those conditions are satisfied.

Hicham Chahine, co-CEO of NIP Group, said: "We are rapidly executing on our digital infrastructure strategy with this third tranche of mining asset acquisitions. Scaling our hashrate to nearly 14 EHps solidifies our position as a significant player in the Bitcoin mining space while generating tangible revenue that supports our broader transformation.”

Chahine also noted the “broader transformation” included the company’s intention to enter into the artificial intelligence and high-performance computing space.

The company’s first mining acquisition closed on September 5, 2025, adding 3.11EHps. NIPG issued approximately 119.6 million Class A ordinary shares for that equipment, which remained at its existing hosting sites.

The Abu Dhabi-headquartered company established a digital computing division to oversee the operation and maintenance of the machines.

In January 2026, NIPG reported that its initial 3.11EHps fleet had produced 151.4 Bitcoin during its first operating period, covering September through November 2025.

The company is widely known for its esports team, Ninjas in Pyjamas, which NIP Group oversees. Ninjas in Pyjamas is best known for its competitive gameplay of Counter Strike 2 and League of Legends.
