Reports in the Seattle press have suggested that Ask.com, which has been evaluating sites in Central Washington for some time now, has signed a lease in an existing building in Moses Lake.
Company spokeswoman, Jennifer Hallett, has refused to confirm more details of the project. Ask.com, an Oakland, California-based company now owned by IAC/InteractiveCorp, is the Internet search engine formerly known as Ask Jeeves. It is the fourth most popular search engine in the US, with 363 million searches conducted on the site in December.
